Chase has a strong history of quickly adopting new technology evidenced by it’s early investment into online banking technology and then very quickly, mobile, as smartphones grew exponentially in capability. Consistently ranked as one of the best experiences for mobile banking, the firm however was looking ahead to a more robust and scalable mobile architecture. Consequently, the concept of “Mobile Next” was adopted in early 2018. A year of research, design workshops, and user testing established the framework for the new app layout the following year and beyond.
2019 and much of 2020 was dedicated to designing and delivering the new home screen experience and ultimately created the model for design and development of future enhancements.
